Michael Brombacher is a conservation expert with over 20 years of experience working in Europe and Central Asia. Since 2011, he has been leading the Frankfurt Zoological Society program in Ukraine, which supports more than a dozen national parks and nature reserves in the Carpathians and Polissya. Under his leadership, the program has become one of the largest and most sustainable nature conservation initiatives in Eastern Europe, providing support in infrastructure, equipment, management planning, and staff development.
