Anna Kuzemko is a Doctor of Biological Sciences, a chief research fellow at the M.G. of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, co-founder and board member of the Ukrainian Nature Conservation Group (UNCG), and an expert on the diversity of grassland ecosystems, the classification of natural habitats (biotopes), and the implementation of the EU Habitats Directive in Ukraine. Since 2022, her research has focused on studying the impact of military operations on vegetation and habitats.
